Lisa Edelstein, an American actress best recognized for her role in House, a Fox medical drama. Born in Wayne in conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in acting at the Tisch School of Arts. She soon became part of the club scene in New York and began making headlines. Also, the press was impressed by her. Then, she combined her talent and fame with the ability to write and compose in the production of a play titled Positive Me. Her first gig was at MTV as the anchor of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. Following the end of the series the show, she began appearing on films and television productions beginning with small roles, and slowly established herself as an actor.
