Sheryl underwood is a comedian, host of a television show, and actor from the United States. She's best known for her role as The Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and raised within Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She was a child who spent a lot of time taking care of her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing as a teenager. Sheryl said that at one point her mother had stabbed an uncle of her daughter as she was too closer to him. Sheryl was a soldier after her college graduation. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! She is currently a guest host on the Talk talk show since 2011. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series including Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
