Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is popular as the presenter for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas she was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent most her childhood taking care of her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. When she was a kid, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl states that one time she cut her father's hair because he got too close. Sheryl enlisted in the military upon her graduation from college. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her first TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the television program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began participating on The Talk as co-host. She's been in many fictional show including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
