Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. After living with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was a very difficult experience. She was not willing to study English and was hoping to return to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions.
